Picasa also makes advanced editing simple by putting one-click fixes and powerful effects at your fingertips. I have always used Photos (iPhoto before it) as a slideshow for my computer. Picasa makes sure your pictures are always organized. I feel I've beaten this topic up but I'm still on a quest. So, does anyone know of an application that will fit the bill? The Photos app just doesn't cut it for me - I have tried it multiple times and I do not like the way it functions (and I am sure that I am not alone in this).
